Your Own Home Care is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. The CQC monitors, inspects and regulates services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.

Everybody is different and has their own unique needs and requirements, therefore all our clients have individually written care plans based on their needs. Whenever possible clients are involved in planning their care in collaboration with their families if desired and as appropriate. The care plan is reviewed at regular intervals and of course if the client’s needs or condition change.
We regularly review the quality of our service by asking staff, our clients and their families to complete satisfaction surveys. The feedback we get from these is used to make improvements to our service.
All our care workers complete induction training when they start to work for us. They attend regular update training and other specialist training including End of Life care. Members of our management team make regular visits to clients to keep in touch with carers and clients.
